Courtney Rundell began performing in vaudeville at three-years-old and was signed to RKO as a teenager. After 15 years stuck in B-Movies and un-credited roles, she finally broke her contract, only to be blackballed by the major studios. Tenacious as they come, Courtney toured with the Moscow Circus until the role of Maria von Trapp, written for her, lured the actress back to Hollywoodland. Courtney won the role, but on the first day of shooting she severely injured her back spinning around and around in the opening sequence. While in convalescence, she wrote and published five mystery novels. Back on her feet, the unstoppable Courtney Rundell is ready to take Hollywood by storm.
