Maria Albiñana is a trilingual Spanish actress, director and writer. She was born in Valencia, Spain. She is recognized for playing strong, deep emotional characters and being a fresh and unique performer. She has a strong theater background experience and has developed her career into TV, film, as well as in stage. At a very young age she was already involved in performing and was very focused in classical ballet. She completed her MA Classical Ballet Degree and trained with the Joven Compañía de Alicia Alonso, among others. Soon after that she also completed her MA Acting Degree and Journalism Degree and continued training as an actress at Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (London), Actors Studio (LA), Actors Gang (LA) etc. In 2004, she won Best Actress in Comedy at LA Webfest with her lead role in the Spanish TV series "Sin Vida Propia", and has been twice nominated as Best Supporting Actress (New Jersey Webfest and Roma Web Awards) for her role as the presidents wife in "We All Wanted to Kill the President", released on Amazon Prime Spain in 2018.
