Sam has just played his first screen villain, the male lead JP in the feature film Caged (2017) - a psychological thriller. He has played other leading roles in film, television dramas, comedies and on both American and British stage. In recognition for his role of John Roika in the film The Last Chance, he won the best actor award for L.I.F.A. He was inspired to become an actor by French film, when at the age of 17 he lived in Paris, and is subsequently a fluent French speaker. It was this experience which shaped his future as a British actor. His West End appearances are numerous, and he has become a semi regular on UK television. Sam was born in the UK, and has lived in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Paris and London. His childhood schooling started in Guildford, Surrey.
