Taylor Tay (birth name - Steve Taylor) was born in Paddington, London, W2 Growing up, Taylor had a keen interest in writing, amateur dramatics, and sports, where he enjoyed much success as a southpaw boxer. He signed a professional boxing contract at the age of 21, but unfortunately his career came to an abrupt end just before his debut fight due to an old thumb injury! He gained experience as a model during his teens, and has modelled on a few occasions in his adult years. At any given opportunity Taylor would be writing or performing. He got a taste for film at a professional level when he featured in Bollywood movie 'Ramji - London Waley (2005) playing a street mugger! After moving from London to Lowestoft (Suffolk) he pursued his career as an actor & writer, and also joined local theatre group, 'The Seagull Theatre', where he enjoys lessons from acting coach & actress Agnes Lillis. As a support artist he has worked his way up the ladder, eventually getting dialogue related roles in TV & film, including a role in a 6-part TV series on SKY channel, 'BEN TV'....and portrayed a murderer in Donal Macintyres 'Murder Files'. He established himself as an actor after landing roles in a handful of feature films and shorts. He has also had featured roles in music videos, and choreographed a big fight scene in one where he played the role of a gangland boss, and recently played an ex-gangster turned priest in British Rap video, 'CONFESSIONS' - (Vineyard Cries) He has always had a soft spot for playing naughty characters such as violent criminals, hooligans, and gangsters, and has a huge passion for comedy ! Taylor Tay has also established himself as a screenwriter, and recently completed a feature film he wrote for ex football hooligan & underworld gangster Carlton Leach. (I'll see what I can do). This will be made for the big screen in 2019. His love for poetry has encouraged him to write song lyrics, including opera! Recently he teamed up with fellow actor & writer Roy Vincent, and created film company, 'LIQUID BULLET PRODUCTIONZ', where they have already completed writing several features and shorts. They hope to make their first film in 2019 to enter into the festival circuit.
