Taylor Black (formerly Gildersleeve) began her career originating the series regular role of 'Sydney Harris' on ABC's All My Children. She was Miss New York Teen USA, and recently graduated suma cum laude from Columbia University with a degree in Film Studies. Taylor is co-owner of Black Tandem production company. Black Tandem's short film, Helen of Troy (2016) enjoyed a successful festival run highlighted by its international premiere at the Academy Award Eligible Bermuda International Film Festival (2018) and will screen at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood next month as part of Hollyshorts Film Festival Monthly Screening Series. Taylor's television acting credits include roles on FOX's Lucifer, NBC's Midnight Texas, Law & Order and 30 Rock, CBS' Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Blue Bloods, NYC 22, Person of Interest, and Unforgettable, CW's Dynasty, Gossip Girl and Cheerleader Death Squad (pilot), ABC's All My Children and One Life to Live, MTV's Hey Girl and One Bad Choice, AMC's Feed the Beast, Hulu's: Deadbeat, & etc. Taylor was recently cast to star opposite Samuel L.
