Jason Ginsburg studied film and theatre at USC, and graduated from Second City Hollywood. Ginsburg's Star Wars parody "Padmé" won the George Lucas Selects Award in the 2008 Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge, the competition's top prize. It subsequently aired on Comedy Central and Spike. Ginsburg graduated from the conservatory program at Second City Hollywood. He has produced online comedy videos for National Lampoon and Animal Planet. He co-produced the online comedy series "Tales of Tinder" for Playboy and produced the online series "Ask the Astronaut" and "SCI on the Street" for Science Channel.
