Adrian Burks is an American Film and Television Actor, and writer who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Earlier in his life he dedicated time to sports and music, when he then soon found the love of acting in plays and performing on all stages. He received a full-ride scholarship to Indiana University, which then led him to focus and work more on his acting career. In college is where he developed his passion and technique for acting. Starting off a thespian provided him the groundwork for discovering characters and developing emotions, needed for character work. Soon after graduating He moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in acting. Receiving small praise for appearing in award winning short Defense of A Traditional Marriage (2013), led to his first feature; First Period (2013), which soon led to a small supporting role in the phenomena award winning film (2014) Whiplash, starring Miles Teller, and J.K Simmons.
