Mayen is an Indian actor who was born in Durban, South Africa and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. He studied at the University of Auckland and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. He is also a graduate of The Actors Program and his experience as an artist includes stand-up comedy, writing, directing, voice-over work and acting for stage and screen. He has been nominated for a Best Actor award at the 48 Hours Film Festival in New Zealand and the docudrama he was in, Cabbie, won the Ignite Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival. The web-series that he guest starred in, Psusy, also won Best Web Series at the LA Film Festival.
