Alexandra Surer is a Berlin based manager with the Bohemia Group, linking international multi-lingual talent from Europe with the US Industry. And vice versa. Born in San Francisco to Swiss parents - making her the only American in her family - she grew up in Vancouver and Basel, was shipped off to Houston as an exchange student, before returning to graduate in Zurich, adding proper German, French and Latin to her native Schwyzerdüütsch and English. After debuting on stage with the renowned Metzentin Children's Theater aged 8, she went on to receive her Bachelor at ZHdK, the Zurich University of the Arts and went on to study with Uta Hagen at H.B. Studio, NY. After working as an actor on German film and TV, repertory stages in Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt, Halle and Berlin, she left the luxury of subsidized theatre to join the Shakespeare Company Berlin, as well as founding and directing the Shakespeare Kids Berlin staging her own translations. During this time, she also ran her own business in Berlin as a Voice Dialogue and Family Constellation practitioner, as well as receiving a screenwriting diploma at Drehbuch Schule Wolfgang Pfeiffer (Oscar Nominee for 'Children of Nature' in 91). Back in Hollywood from 2009-2016, she began working as a 2nd AD, producer and continued honing her writing skills at ScreenwritingU (ProSeries and Masterclass).
