Christina Concetta was born and raised in Athens , Greece, a graduate of the prestigious Royal Greek Academy of the National Theatre. Upon her graduation, she was immediately hired by the company and toured performing the classics. She then moved to NYC on a scholarship program with the Actors Studio, and continued her advanced acting studies with Ms. Uta Hagen. Christina has worked on international stages from Johannesburg's Civic Theatre, to New York City's well known La Mama Theatre to the world famous Acropolis Open Theatre of Herodus Atticus in " Medea" , " Taming of the shrew" , " Electra", " Street car named desire" "Frida Cahlo" etc. A Los Angeles resident now and an honor's Graduate of UCLA screen writing program Christina's first script "OPA!" a love story that is set on the mystical Greek island of Patmos was produced by " Cinema 7 Productions" starring: Mathew Modine and Richard Griffiths. "OPA!" had a Theatrical US release by Cinedigm a pioneer distribution company that specializes on digital cinema and digital distribution. "OPA!" premiered at the Mann Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Christina focuses the recent years her creative talents on developing featured projects that are based on real theatrical characters that have Global effect.
