Andrea Frankle grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. She got her start in acting at the age of 8 doing community theatre with her mother, an accomplished singer, who was also her music teacher in grade school. Her father is a retired Colonel in the USAF and was a Marine in Vietnam. She attended catholic school, received her B.A.in Theatre from The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), and earned her MFA in Acting from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Andrea became a professional actor in New Orleans, LA, working in theatre, film and television, and teaching acting at various universities, community colleges, as well as her own workshops. She also waited tables and worked at Barnes & Noble Booksellers. She considers Nola her artistic home to this day, though she has lived in Los Angeles, (where she worked with Center Theatre Group), Portland, OR, (while working at Artists Repertory Theatre playing Blanche Dubois as well as Olga in Tracy Letts' premiere adaptation of Three Sisters), Berkeley, CA, (where she toured a CTG production to Berkeley Rep) and Montreal, QC.
