Born and raised in New York City, Issa studied Art in New Orleans and began working full time as a professional artist in 2003 from her garage, all while being a proud at-home-mom and selling her artworks in High-end retail shops and online. She has appeared in several articles and in reference books: "The Artists Blue Book; 34,000 North American Artists (March 2005) 479 pages. "New Orleans homes and lifestyles," and has had successful group shows where her art was sold at "The Robert Miller Gallery" and "Metro Pictures" in New York City -- A cause to benefit artists living with AIDS. In 2010, fed up with creating paintings she called "Safe paintings that sold easily and looked pretty in peoples homes or offices" she felt being a street artist would allow her to express herself 'according to her moods.' Her works have been pasted in the streets of New York City, Brooklyn, the Bronx and in New Orleans. Her main subjects were children playing while others were controversial relating to politics and Religion. Throughout her career as an artist while raising two children which was her first priority, she never gave up her dream of becoming an Actress. This yearning stemmed at the tender age of nine while watching Jerry Lewis shows which inspired her. When her two children graduated from High School and not a day later, she retired from painting and began her new journey in acting.
