Ashley Byam was born in Mile End, East London, where at a young age his mother enrolled him in drama and dance classes. He first knew acting was more than a passion when he played Jacob Marley in his primary school production of 'A Christmas Carol'. In college, he studied performing arts and subsequently trained as a dancer in Ballet, Contemporary and Street and was part of youth dance company based in East London. He would take his skills to the Oxford School of Drama where he played the titular role in a UK tour of Romeo and Juliet. He graduated in 2014, not before he was offered the role of "John" opposite Tom Hardy in LEGEND. A few weeks later he was offered a supporting lead role in THE LEGEND OF TARZAN opposite Alexander Skarsgard and Margot Robbie. In addition to his ever-growing Film and TV career, he is also a very accomplished stage actor. Most recently he appeared at the Royal National Theatre in London, as well as a tour of the production of 'The Velveteen Rabbit' in Broadway, Barcelona, and Seattle. - IMDb Mini Biography By: AB
