David S. Jung was born in New York City and grew up around the Adirondack Mountains in Lake George, NY. He has appeared on stage and in several films and tv shows such as Death Note, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, American Dad, Perception, Hung, Mad TV, Heroes, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Howard Stern, NPR and Good Morning America from which he is banned for life. He has also performed at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, The Improv, Joe's Pub at the Public Theater, Toyota Comedy Festival and NY Fringe Festival. David is a former US and World Air Guitar Champion and the star of the documentary, Air Guitar Nation. David has also appeared in dozens of national commercials and works as a voiceover artist for film, television, radio and video games. Other credits include: Bojack Horseman, Family Guy, Law & Order SVU, Law & Order, The Practice, The Shield, Mind the Gap and Tom Clancy's Netforce. David attended Phillips Exeter Academy, studied pre-med and English literature at Cornell University and received his MFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
